ROLAND, Okla. — Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland is partnering with KISR to present the 2025 Jetsetters Ball, which includes cash drawings, live entertainment and a Comic Con-inspired $4,000 costume contest where guests are invited to dress up like larger-than-life heroes, villains and pop-culture icons for the chance to win a share of $4,000.
The Jetsetters Ball kicks off at 8 p.m. in the Garrison Station Event Center with DJ Skribble on turntables. Costume contest registration begins at 8 p.m. Guests must be registered by 9:30 p.m. to be considered.
The top costume contenders will be announced at midnight in Lee Creek Tavern. The first-place winner receives $2,500, second-place winner takes home $1,000, and third-place winner is awarded $500. Winners must be present to win.
Festivities also include October Haul-O-Winning drawings, where $5,000 will be awarded every hour from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. To be eligible for the drawings, entrants must have at least one active rated play session or One Star Rewards card swipe at any kiosk within two hours of each drawing. Guest can begin earning entries on Sept. 28.
National headliner The Original Blues Brothers Band will also be performing at Lee Creek Tavern starting at 9 p.m. The show is free to those 21 and older. Originally presented by Dan Aykroyd and the Belushi family, The Original Blues Brothers Band remains synonymous with blues music that’s tapped into pop culture. Audiences can expect a star-studded lineup featuring musicians from both the 1980 film “The Blues Brothers” and the 1998 sequel “Blues Brothers 2000.”
All contestants are surveyed prior to the start and informed if they need to remove any part of their costume that may disqualify them. Guests are reminded that costume masks, full-face paint, hats and hoodies are not allowed outside the designated area of the Garrison Station Event Center or Lee Creek Tavern. No costume weapons, nudity or implied nudity is allowed. Entrance to the party is free, and guests must be 21 or older.
