ROLAND, Okla. — Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland will welcome the iconic rock band Slaughter at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at Lee Creek Tavern inside the casino, bringing more than three decades of chart-topping hits and electrifying live performances to the stage.

Emerging in 1990, Slaughter became the band no one saw coming, surging to wild popularity practically overnight. Dominating radio airplay and MTV, the band quickly solidified its prominence with breakout singles like “Up All Night” and the power ballad “Fly to the Angels,” landing on touring circuits alongside legendary acts such as KISS and Ozzy Osbourne. Its debut album, “Stick It to Ya,” achieved multiplatinum success, launching a career defined by arena tours, gold and platinum records, and a loyal global fan base.

Throughout the 1990s, Slaughter continued its momentum with its sophomore album, “The Wild Life,” which debuted in the Billboard Top 10 and earned the band an American Music Award. The group continued to tour worldwide alongside artists such as Damn Yankees, Alice Cooper, Warrant and Ozzy Osbourne, and it also released four more studio albums, including “Fear No Evil,” “Revolution” and “Back to Reality.”
