TULSA, Okla. — A cornerstone of country music, legendary country icon Clint Black returns to Hard Rock Live inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m.
Clint Black rose to fame as part of the groundbreaking Class of '89. His meteoric debut with the triple-platinum album “Killin’ Time” produced five consecutive No. 1 singles, instantly establishing him as a force in the genre. He followed that success with the equally lauded “Put Yourself in My Shoes” —certified triple-platinum — and a string of platinum and gold albums throughout the 1990s.
Known for his songwriting prowess, Black has written or co-written all of his more than 30 chart hits on the U.S. Billboard country charts, including fan favorites like “A Better Man,” “Killin’ Time,” “When My Ship Comes In,” “A Good Run of Bad Luck,” “Summer’s Comin’,” “Like the Rain” and “Nothin’ But the Taillights.” His work also includes 22 No. 1 singles, making him one of the most successful singer-songwriters in country music history.
Throughout his career, Black has sold more than 20 million records worldwide and collected dozens of gold and platinum certifications in the U.S. and Canada. In 1996, he was honored with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. He also earned a Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration for “Same Old Train” in 1998 and has received nearly two dozen major awards and nominations.
Tickets start at $59.50 and go on sale June 27.
