TUNICA, Miss. — Gold Strike Casino & Resort is cranking up Halloween with a rock 'n' roll celebration of live entertainment, over-the-top costumes and big chances to win! The celebration takes over the Live Oak Ballroom Oct. 24, headlined by a performance from world-famous KISS tribute MINIKISS and a costume contest, followed by more chances to win on Sunday. Admission to the Oct. 24 party is $24.99, and guests must be 21 or older.
The festivities take center stage in Live Oak Ballroom on Saturday, Oct. 24, with MINIKISS performing at 8 p.m. Known as "The Hottest Littlest Band in the World," MINIKISS delivers a high-energy tribute to one of rock’s most iconic bands with electrifying performances, a larger-than-life stage presence and a show that has entertained audiences around the globe.
Guests can also get in on the action by showing off their own Halloween looks during Gold Strike’s costume contest starting at 8 p.m. Six winners will each receive $250 in Status+ Rewards play, with prizes awarded for Best Couple, Best Male, Best Female, Most Creative, Most Original and Best Rock Star.
All contestants are surveyed prior to the start and informed if they need to remove any part of their costume that may disqualify them. Guests are reminded that all costume masks, along with hats or wigs that obscure the face, and fake weapons are prohibited. Face paint is permitted, but guests must remain recognizable, and hands must remain visible at all times. No nudity is allowed.
The casino destination is keeping the winning coming for football fans on Sunday, Oct. 25, during Gold Strike’s College Football Frenzy Drawing. At 12:15 p.m., 10 winners will each receive $500 in Status+ Rewards play. Losing sportsbook tickets of $50 or more are eligible for entry, and winners do not have to be present to win.
