ROLAND, Okla. — Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland will welcome the legendary hair metal rock band Great White at 8 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Lee Creek Tavern inside the casino.
With more than four decades in the music industry, the Grammy-nominated rock band Great White continues to thrill fans with its high-energy live performances. Known for chart-topping hits like “Once Bitten, Twice Shy,” the band has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and boasts six Top 100 Billboard hits, nine Top 200 Billboard albums and two platinum records.
Today, Great White carries its legacy with a renewed energy while staying true to the sound that defined a generation of rock music. Great White’s iconic discography includes fan favorites such as “Rock Me,” “Save Your Love,” “Mista Bone,” “House of Broken Love” and “Lady Red Light,” along with deep cuts across their extensive 13-studio-album catalog.
Now fronted by vocalist Brett Carlisle, Great White features founding guitarist Mark Kendall, along with Michael Lardie (guitar, keyboards), Audie Desbrow (drums) and Scott Snyder (bass). Since forming in 1982, the band has built a reputation for its signature sound, merging driving rhythms, and crushing, blues-based guitar riffs with sultry vocals and swagger.
