TULSA, Okla. — Known for her impact on music, television and film, global icon and acclaimed vocalist Jessica Simpson is heading to the Hard Rock Live stage inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Saturday, May 23, at 8 p.m.

Rising to fame in the late 1990s with her unmistakable voice and Southern-rooted sensibility, Simpson first captured audiences with her debut album “Sweet Kisses,” featuring the breakout hit “I Wanna Love You Forever.” She quickly became one of the defining voices of early-2000s pop, releasing chart-topping albums, including “Irresistible” and “In This Skin,” which produced signature songs like “With You” and “Take My Breath Away.”

In 2005, Simpson made her film debut as Daisy Duke in “The Dukes of Hazzard” and released a cover of Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Were Made for Walkin'" for the movie's soundtrack. The song topped the Billboard Hot Digital Tracks charts and was certified platinum. In 2008, Simpson expanded her artistry with the country-leaning album “Do You Know,” highlighting her Texas roots and musical versatility with the hit single “Come On Over.” After stepping away from music to focus on motherhood, entrepreneurship and personal growth, she returned to the studio with a renewed creative vision.

In 2025, Simpson made her long-awaited return to music with “Nashville Canyon, Pt. 1,” her first original release in 15 years. The deeply personal EP blends country, rock, pop and Americana influences while exploring themes of heartbreak, healing and self-discovery. Standout tracks, including “Blame Me,” “Leave” and “Use My Heart Against Me,” marked a bold artistic evolution, with “Leave” debuting in the iTunes Top 40 and reaffirming her connection with fans.

Simpson reintroduced herself live with celebrated performances at SXSW 2025, including appearances at the Recording Academy’s Block Party and the Luck Reunion, her first live shows in more than a decade. Her return was met with praise for its emotional honesty, raw storytelling and commanding vocals, signaling that this chapter is not a comeback but a continuation of her artistic journey.

With more than 20 million records sold worldwide, Simpson remains a defining voice of her generation while embracing a new sound grounded in authenticity and resilience. She continued that story with “Nashville Canyon, Pt. 2,” released in September 2025, featuring the acclaimed single “Fade,” a haunting reflection on letting go of the past and stepping fully into the future.

Aside from Simpson's entertainment prowess, she has achieved tremendous success as a designer and entrepreneur with her Jessica Simpson Collection, which she launched over two decades ago. Launched in 2005, the collection has reached billion-dollar-brand status with over 35 product categories and growing.

Simpson’s memoir, “Open Book,” debuted at No. 1 on three categories of the New York Times Best Seller list and became an instant global bestseller, receiving many accolades, including the Time’s “100 must-read books of 2020.” The book is sold in over 121 countries.

Tickets start at $79.50 and go on sale Feb. 13.
