TULSA, Okla. — Rising country star Alex Miller is packing up and heading out to Track 5. inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Friday, June 20, at 9 p.m.
The show is free and open to the public ages 21 and up.
Miller brings a wave of traditional country charm and unstoppable momentum to the stage, following a meteoric rise sparked by his appearance on “American Idol” in 2021. Since capturing hearts on the show, the Lancaster, Kentucky, native has carved out a fast-moving and impressive career, signing with Billy Jam Records and releasing multiple successful projects.
His 2022 debut album, “Miller Time,” produced fan-favorite tracks like “I’m Over You, So Get Over Me,” “Don’t Let the Barn Door Hit Ya” and “Through With You.” Miller kept the momentum going with his 2023 EP, “Country,” featuring hits “When God Made the South,” “Girl, I Know a Guy” and the high-energy “Puttin’ Up Hay.”
In June 2024, Miller debuted on the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage, a moment he describes as incredible, drawing fans from across state lines. With a deep Kentucky twang and natural charisma, Miller has become a favorite across state fairs and festivals, opening for major acts like Hank Williams Jr., Josh Turner, Lee Brice, Brooks & Dunn and Jamey Johnson. His stage presence has also been showcased alongside legends such as Rhonda Vincent, Diamond Rio and Sawyer Brown.
Miller’s 2024 tour further expanded his reach, sharing bills with Alabama, Justin Moore, Neal McCoy and others while maintaining his songwriting roots. He continues to write with revered names like Kent Blazy, Larry Cordle and Byron Hill and collaborates with new talent, including Allie Colleen and Emily Ann Roberts.
His latest EP, “My Daddy’s Dad,” showcases his artistic growth. Produced by Jerry Salley, the five-song collection includes the title track and radio-hit single as well as the playful follow-up “She Makes Dirt Look Good.” With new music on the horizon — including an upcoming duet with Emily Ann Roberts — and a tireless drive to evolve his craft, Miller is bringing the best of traditional country to Tulsa and beyond.
