TULSA, Okla. — Chart-topping Texas country singer and Track 5. alum Casey Chesnutt is back in Tulsa and returning to the Track 5. stage inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Friday, Jan. 10, at 9 p.m.
The show is free and open to the public ages 21 and up.
Influenced by red dirt, classic country, rock and his father (country music legend Mark Chesnutt), Casey Chesnutt began his career at the age of 15. By that time, he started to develop his own diverse taste in music and dug into the Texas Red Dirt scene. Cross Canadian Ragweed is among his most significant influences, closely followed by Reckless Kelly, Randy Rogers, Stoney LaRue and Wade Bowen.
After five years with the Marines, Casey Chesnutt built a promising career with his band playing honky-tonks and dance halls across the Midwest. His debut single, “Even Texas Couldn’t Hold Her,” became an anthem among the Texas music scenes. He later recorded and self-released his first album. Chesnutt plans on releasing new music on his new record label, Clearwater Records, in 2025.
